HRCC Donates $87,000 to the Progeria Research Foundation

Once again, the generosity and support of the automotive enthusiast community was on display September 21st, 2013, as YEARONE and the Hot Rodders Children’s Charity held the 8th Annual Chip Foose Edition Braselton Bash. Hundreds of cars and spectators shook off the rainy weather to participate in the Bash, which is the final event of a weeklong schedule of activities that included the 2013 Drivin’ It Home Tour and the 2013 HRCC Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament. After all the activities were completed, the HRCC was proud and elated to present the Progeria Research Foundation a check for $87,200.13. These funds will help support research into treating and ultimately curing Progeria, a rapid-aging disease that afflicts children across the globe. With this latest donation, the HRCC has made donations to the PRF totaling more than $1,000,000. On behalf of the HRCC, YEARONE, and everyone involved in the efforts to improve the lives of children everywhere, we say Thank You for your Support!

One highly anticipated part of the Foose Edition Braselton Bash was the Motorcycle raffle drawing that took place Saturday evening. And we can confirm that we do indeed have a winner of the bike. Unfortunately, the winner wasn’t present at the time and we are still attempting to contact him by phone to inform him of his very good fortune. Until we do so, we will not post his information so as not to spoil the surpise, and also to respect his privacy should he wish to remain anonymous.

We can tell you the winner is from Atlanta, Georgia. So if you are an Atlanta resident and you keep getting phone calls from YEARONE, you might want to answer. There might just be a nice surprise on the other end of the line!

The proceeds from the raffle benefit the Hot Rodders Children’s Charity, and YEARONE and the HRCC want to thank everyone who participated.

2013 YEARONE Braselton Bash Schedule

The 2013 Braselton Bash Car Show and Event schedule has been released and can be seen here. The Braselton Bash series is held in conjunction with YEARONE at their facilities in Braselton, Georgia, and all proceeds benefit the HRCC. There are plenty of cool activities planned for 2013, and we look forward to seeing you at the Bash!
